June 6 : ICYM Moodbidri unit organised a handover ceremony and training session on 4th June 2023 at Corpus Christi Church Hall.

V.Rev.Fr.Onil Dsouza - Parish priest Corpus Christi Church Moodbidri, Mr.Vincent Dsouza- Vice president parish council , Mr. Norbert Martis-Secretary Parish council . Mrs. Celine Dsouza- co-ordinator of 21 commissions, Mr. Kevin D’souza and Mr. Royston Pinto -Animators of ICYM Moodbidri , Mr. Vijoy Cardoza-President of ICYM Moodbidri Unit, were dignitaries on the dais.

The programme began with a prayer service led by Ms.Clarita Fernandes. Mr. Lionel Joshua Menezes welcomed the gathering. V.Rev.Fr.Onil Dsouza rendered the Oath to the new executive committee. He also congratulated and wished good luck to the new office bearers and advised them to strengthen the ICYM Unit by organising programs which creates interest among youths.

Mr.Reuben Serrao thanked the ICYM members for electing him as the President for the year 2023-24 and also asked them to support him for upcoming programs. Mr.Vijoy Cardoza shared his experience with the youths about his journey of being president of the unit for 1 year.

The Oath-taking Ceremony was followed by an interactive session led by Mr. Jason Crasta Mogarnad who explained the role of ICYM in the overall development of youths. He also explained the methodologies to be followed in ICYM.

Around 30 youths were present. Ms.Anisha Noronha rendered a vote of thanks and Ms.Carol Rebello compered the program.
