Nov 23 : ICYM Central Council, Diocese of Mangalore in collaboration with Astitva (R) Mangaluru organised a two-day Drama workshop by imparting basic values and training to the youth titled “Khel”. Artists of Astitva were the resource persons for this workshop. The artists of Astitva gave practical training on how to put up an act on the stage, primarily acting, dialogue delivery, stage arrangements and movements, various roles ("ಪಾತ್ರ್ ವಿನ್ಯಾಸ್"), and preparation, make-up, lights, costumes, role preparation and other necessary details. Towards the end of the workshop, a practical act was presented based on a poem composed by Cha. Fra. D'Costa.

Astitva team have planned to organise “Kuswar Kotlo” on the occasion of Christmas and Rev Fr Ashwin Cardoza, Director ICYM Mangalore Diocese released a poster titled “Kuswar Kotlo”. Fr Ashwin thanked Astitva team; Jaison Crasta, the Diocesan President and Blairil Vishma Dcunha, General Secretary handed over the memento as a token of gratitude.

Christoper Ninasam, Clanvin Fernandes, Christon Fernandes, Zeena Braggs, Anstin Machado, Donna Dsouza, Samuel Mathias, Lester Menezes were the resources for the workshop. ICYM Diocesan executive committee , Council members and Puttur unit Secretary Joyson Dsouza attended the workshop.
