Oct 17 : Closing ceremony of Karnataka Regional Youth Commission's Cross Journey in Mangalore Diocese was held on Sunday, 16th of October 2022 at the Yuvajyothi Olivet House, Jeppu.

The journey of the Cross began in the diocese on August 7th. The Cross was taken to 12 deaneries of the diocese. Youth, parishioners, Directors and Animators of ICYM units and deaneries organized Taize prayer, Adoration and praise and worship.

The KRYC Cross was handed over by ICYM Kasargod Deanery Council members to the ICYM Central Council which was followed by adoration of the Cross led by Rev Fr Paul D'Souza, Resident priest of Valencia Parish.

Rev Fr Ashwin Lohith Cardoza, Director ICYM Diocese of Mangalore, Mr Anil John Sequeira President, Ms Nishal Preemal D'Souza General Secretary and other members of the Executive and Central Council of ICYM Diocese of Mangalore as well as members of ICYM Kasargod Deanery were present for the ceremony.
