Oct 29 : ICYM MANGALORE YOUTH participated in the YUVAJANOTSAVA 2022 - KRYC held from 22nd October to 25th October 2022 at Christ University, Bangalore organized by Karnataka Regional Youth Commission and hosted by Mandya Diocese. 120 youth of Mangalore along with other youth of various dioceses of Karnataka actively participated in the mega youth convention. Various activities like Taize Prayer, Adoration, Peace Rally, Animation, group activities etc were arranged throughout the convention. Our youth represented the culture of Mangalore through a performance.

Mr Jaison Lawrence Crasta Immediate Past President and Ex Nominated member, Ms Blairil Vishma D’Cunha Ex General Secretary and Lady Vice President were awarded KRCBC Youth Award for their selfless service in ICYM and Ms Viola Reshma Lewis Regional Representative was awarded KRCBC Youth Award for her selfless service in AICUF.

Mr Elvin Prashant D’Cunha Belthangady and Ms Blairil Vishma D’Cunha Cascia bagged 1st and 2nd place respectively in the online Elocution and Ashwia Rego bagged 3rd place in online Painting Competition conducted by KRYC. Sport Trophies were also given during the Valedictory programme to ICYM Mangalore Women's team for winning 1st place in Throwball and Men's team for 2nd place in Volleyball Tournament of YUVAJANOTSAVA CUP which was held in the month of September.

Rev Fr Ashwin Lohith Cardoza Director ICYM Mangalore Diocese, Mr Anil John Sequeira President, Ms Nishal Preemal D’Souza General Secretary, DEXCO and Central Council members participated in the convention.
