Indian Catholic Youth Movement Central Council, Diocese of Mangalore proudly honoured Ms Asha Flavy Cutinha on 19 March 2023 at Yuvajyothi, Olivet House Jeppu. Rev Fr Ashwin Lohith Cardoza said that it's a proud moment for ICYM MANGALORE as Ms Asha not only served ICYM actively but also has been an inspiration to all the youth for her excellent dedication and hardwork. He also said that his dream of seeing at least one youth in the Police Service during his term as Director has come true.
Ms Asha said that she has contributed to the community from her side by joining as a Government Servant and requested fellow youth to try for the same. She hails from Bajpe, she is the daughter of Mr Elias Cutinha and Mrs Angeline Cutinha.
She has completed her MSc in Physics from St Aloysius College, Mangalore. She has successfully passed the Police Constable Examination conducted by the Karnataka Police Department in the year 2022.
She joined ICYM in the year 2013 and has served as the office bearer at both the Unit and Deanery levels. She has also served as the editor for Amcho Yuvak Magazine, a bulletin of ICYM Central Council, in the year 2018-19.
