Nov 5 : Teachers' Day was celebrated by ICYM Thannirbavi unit on 10th September 2023.

The Prayer was led by the choir group with the Hymn. Darvin Coelho, Vice President of Parish Pastoral Council welcomed the Guests and the gathering.The dignitaries on the dais included Rev. Fr. Lawrence Dsouza, the Parish Priest of Our Lady of Fatima Church Thannirbavi, a Guest Priest, Darvin Coelho - Vice President of Parish Pastoral Council , Mrs. Thelma Dsouza - Secretary of Parish Pastoral Council, Mrs. Phelomena Coelho - Incharge of 24 Committees and Mr. Joel Dsouza, President ICYM.The importance of the day was read by Jenita. The Choir group sang a few songs in dedication to all the teachers.

Prephetuva Dlima spoke on behalf of all the Teachers. Rev. Fr. Lawrence Dsouza gave his message on the Importance teachers in each one's life. All the teachers were given a memento as a token of gratitude for their selfless service to the society.

The master of Ceremony was done by Telma Dsouza. In the end Glanita Dsouza, Secretary ICYM proposed the vote of thanks.
