April 17 : On Sunday, March 30th, 2025, in observance of Lent, the ICYM Vamanjoor unit organized a Taize Prayer session at St. Joseph the Worker Church, Vamanjoor from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The service witnessed the active participation of Rev. Fr. James Dsouza (Parish Priest), Rev. Fr. Ivan Ashwin Dsouza (Assistant Priest), ICYM members, and parishioners, all coming together in a spirit of prayer and reflection.

Fr. Suraj Lobo led the session, enlightening the congregation about the significance, origins, and global influence of Taize prayer. The Blue Angels Choir enriched the experience by leading soul-stirring hymns that fostered a peaceful and contemplative atmosphere.

The altar, beautifully decorated with lamps, bricks, and lights by dedicated ICYM members, served as a visual centrepiece, drawing hearts and minds into quiet reflection. The evening came to a peaceful close, offering parishioners a quiet space to reflect and deepen their faith this Lenten season.
