April 17 : ICYM Pezar Deanery successfully organized a meaningful spiritual program called "ಗೆತ್ಸೆಮನಿ ಸಾಂಜ್ 2025” – an evening filled with prayer, reflection, and divine blessings. The event took place on April 6th, 2025, at 4:00 PM at the St. John Paul II Shrine in Bajpe, and was attended by around 150 enthusiastic youth from various units of the Pezar Deanery. The program began with a 30-minute session of praise and worship, where everyone joyfully sang and praised the Lord, setting the tone for a blessed evening. After this, Josvita D’Souza, President of ICYM Pezar Deanery, warmly welcomed the gathering and introduced the preacher for the evening, Rev. Fr. Cyril Lobo. The next part of the program was a time of adoration of the Holy Eucharist, where all gathered in silent prayer and devotion. Fr. Cyril Lobo shared a meaningful talk focusing on the biblical understanding of intercaste marriage, encouraging the youth to trust in God's plan for their lives and relationships.

A very special moment was when all participants were invited to come forward in groups—below 18, above 18, nun-sisters, and parents—to surrender themselves to the Holy Sacrament. This powerful act of faith touched everyone’s hearts and created a peaceful, prayerful atmosphere.At the end, President Josvita D’Souza delivered a heartfelt vote of thanks, appreciating the efforts of all who helped in making the event a success.

The choir, beautifully led by Sonali Noronha from Bajpe, added a spiritual touch to the program with soulful singing. The music was further enriched by the talented instrumentalists:

Anil Lobo, and Deacon Vikas Pereira, whose presence added more meaning to the gathering.Overall, “ಗೆತ್ಸೆಮನಿ ಸಾಂಜ್ 2025” was a spiritually uplifting event that brought the youth closer to God and helped strengthen their faith and unity in Christ.
