Dec 31 : ICYM Nirkan organized Nathalanchi Sanz 2024 on December 24, 2024, after the Christmas Eve Mass.

The event began with ICYM and YCS members leading the carol singing.

Present on the dais were Rev. Fr. Leo Lobo, the parish priest; Rev Fr Vincent D’Souza & Rev Fr Stany Rodriguez; Vincent Bennis, Vice President of the Parish Pastoral Council (PPC) and Animator of the ICYM Nirkan Unit; Shanthi Veigas, Secretary of the PPC; Austin Lobo, Coordinator of Commissions, Nirkan Church; Alphonse Fernandes, the founding president of ICYM Nirkan; along with Rolvish Fernandes and Leesha Lobo, the President and Secretary of the ICYM Nirkan Unit.

The event was inaugurated by cutting the Christmas cake.

Following this, members of YCS and ICYM performed a dance. Melwin D’Souza conducted the auction.

Later, a Konkani drama titled Unchle Shikap, written by Melwin D’Souza, was performed.

Prizes for the games conducted during the Christmas season were distributed thereafter. The event concluded with the popular Housy Housy game.

Rolvish Fernandes, President of the ICYM Nirkan Unit, welcomed the gathering, while Leesha Lobo, Secretary of the ICYM Nirkan Unit, delivered the vote of thanks. Lisha Rodrigues, an ICYM member, compered the program.
