Aug 30 : On the occasion of Independence Day , ICYM Belthangady Deanery conducted online speech competition in Konkani language for the youths of Belthangady Deanery.

This competition was held in two categories. Namely,
1.Age group 22 - 30
Topic: ದೇಶಾದ್ಯಂತ ಎಕ್ವೊಟಾಂತ್ ಮ್ಹಜೊ ಪಾತ್ರ್
2. Age group 16 - 21
Topic: ಅನ್ಯಾಯ್, ಅನೀತಿ ಅನಿ ಹಿಂಸಾ ಮಧೆಂ ಪ್ರಜಾಪ್ರಭುತ್ವಚೆಂ ರಕ್ಷಣ್

Participants were said to record the video of the speech within 5 minutes in 16:9 resolution in landscape mode. The video should be uploaded to their own google drive and link should be sent to the organisers.

Last date for the submission of speech was on 14th August 2023. These videos have been uploaded in the YouTube channel of ICYM Belthangady Deanery on 15th August 2023.

Judgement on the speech competition was held in two ways. Overall points were 100 and judges evaluated the speech within 50 marks and other 50 points were given to the participants based on the subscribers and the watch hours of the speech on the YouTube channel. For this participants were given 10 days for gaining as much as points. Due date was on 24th August 2023.

The prizes for the winners were presented on 27th August 2023 on the event of RANG MANCH - 2K23.
Winners of the competition are :
1st category, first prize was won by Riyola Ancita Martis and second prize by Larine Pereira, both are from Belthangady unit.
Winner of 2nd category is Joshma Leera Monis of Gardady Unit.
