Dec 3 : ICYM Ukkinadka unit and ICYM Kasaragod Deanery youth council in collaboration with Red Drop Mangalore along with the Indian Red Cross Society Mangalore, organised a blood donation camp at Sacred Heart Of Jesus Church hall Ukkinadka on Sunday, 20th November 2022 from 9:00 AM to 1:30 PM.

The program began with a prayer song led by ICYM members. The camp was inaugurated with the lighting of lamp. Rev. Fr. Wilson Lobo, parish priest of Sacred Heart Of Jesus Church Ukkinadka, Rev. Fr. Anil Avild Lobo Director of ICYM Kasaragod Deanery, Sri Praveen Kumar District coordinator of Red cross society Dakshina Kannada, Joel Lancy Amcho Yuvak representative of ICYM Mangalore diocese, Maxi Dsouza President of ICYM Kasaragod Deanery, Jasmitha Monteiro secretary of ICYM Kasaragod Deanery, Joslin Ashwitha president of Ukkinadka unit, Peter Paul Dsouza Vice president and Neetha Crasta secretary of Ukkinadka unit were present on the dais.

 Joslin Ashwitha, Unit president welcomed the gathering, Fr Anil Avild Lobo addressed the gathering and spoke about the importance of blood donation. With this the inaugural programme concluded with vote of thanks by Jasmitha Monteiro, followed by blood donation by the donors. Total 54 members registered for blood donation and 51 members were eligible to donate their blood and made it a successful one.
