Jan 5 : ICYM Bela Unit celebrated Christmas – 2018 at Our Lady of Dolours Church, Bela. With regard to the occasion, ICYM members of Bela unit prepared a beautiful Christmas crib and stars under the guidance of ICYM members Royson, Jossy, Jaison and along with the help of other ICYM members commenced the work of crib and stars from 25th November 2018.

On the Christmas Eve, 24th December the grand Holy Eucharistic celebration commenced at 7.00 PM. ICYM members conducted the liturgy. After the mass, Christmas Eve was organised by the ICYM members. The programme commenced with the arrival of Santa Claus. Vijay Crasta – President, ICYM Bela Unit welcomed guests and the gathering. Rev. Fr John Vas – Parish Priest, Our Lady of Dolours Church, Bela presided over the programme along with Rev. Fr Robert Crasta - Chief guest of the programme, Rev. Fr Ashok Rayan Crasta – Director and Vijay Crasta – President, ICYM Bela Unit were the dignitaries of the programme.

Christmas Eve was inaugurated by cutting the Christmas cake. Lucky coupons were released in  preparation of Kalostav which would be organised soon at the parish. Housie Housie, American Auction, Cake Draw and entertaining performances were held after the formal programme. A prayer song was released by Jestin Dsouza - ICYM Member and a Christmas song by Prinson Dsouza - ICYM Member on the same eve. Br. Jeevan Dsouza was honored during the occasion for securing 1st rank in BSW.

At the end, mementos were distributed to the volleyball winners for securing 1st place consecutively from past 4 years and to those who helped voluntarily to prepare crib. Josphin Crasta - Secretary, ICYM Bela Unit proposed the vote of thanks.
