Sep 12: ICYM Kayyar unit organised tug of war competition for the parishioners on 2nd September 2018 at Kayyar church premises on the occasion of 72nd Indian lndependence Day. 6 teams of men and 4 teams of women participated in this event.

In men's category St Joseph ward bagged 1st place and Holy Cross ward bagged 2nd place. In women's category Holy Cross ward bagged 1st place and St Joseph ward bagged 2nd place. The winners were awarded with rolling shield and cash prizes.
