Sep 3 : ICYM Kumbla conducted “poove pole poove" a flower carpet competition on 2 September 2023, at St Monica school mini hall .

The competition was held for children from 1 standard to +2 in priorly formed 5  teams.

At 3:00 pm, the competition officially began.

The teams had a time limit of two hours, plus an additional ten minutes to clean the area. The competition saw participation from all five teams.

Mr. Tharanath Salian and Mrs. Sherli Benny served as the competition's judges. The only criteria used for assessment were originality, neatness, colour combinations, and the utilisation of traditional decorations.

The competition concluded at 5:30 pm with the distribution of tokens of appreciation to the judges, followed by the provision of juice and snacks for the organisers, judges, and competitors.

Deacon Lanson, animator Depti D'Souza, and 15 other ICYM members were present for the entire time.
