Oct 11 : ICYM Mariashram unit in association with Father Muller Medical College Hospital Mangalore under ICYM Red Drop Account organised a blood donation camp on 9th October 2022 at Mariashram Church Hall.

The program began with a Prayer song led by ICYM members.

Mr Lanson Sharon Dsouza, ICYM Mariashram Unit President welcomed the gathering, Rev Fr Gerald Pinto - The Parish Priest and Director of ICYM Mariashram unit, Mr Francis Dsouza - Parish vice president, Mr Maxi Dsouza - ICYM Kasaragod Deaneary President,  Mr Joel Crasta - ICYM Mangalore Diocese Amcho Yuvak Rep, Dr Chaitanya, Mr Lanson Dsouza - ICYM Mariashram Unit President, Mr Elston Dsouza - ICYM Mariashram unit Red Drop Rep and Mr Francis Monteiro - ICYM Animator were the dignitaries present on the dais.

The camp was inaugurated with the lightning of a lamp.

Rev Fr Gerald Pinto spoke about the importance of Blood Donation and encouraged the youth and youngsters to do so.

Then Dr Chaitanya incharge of blood Donation camp spoke about The importance of blood and by donating blood we can save 3-4 persons' lives.

Miss Alvita Priya Lobo ICYM Mariashram unit secretary proposed the vote of thanks. Total 35 members registered for blood donation, but only 22 members were eligible to donate blood.
