Nov 24 : On the occasion of Children's Day, ICYM Nithyadar unit along with the Commission for Bible and Catechetics of Nithyadar Parish, under the guidance of Fr. Anthony Lasrado organized the Children's Day programme on 19th November, 2023 at Nithyadar church Hall.

Jevita Ferrao welcomed the gathering, Fr Anthony Lasrado parish priest of Nithyadar, parish council secretary Franky Ferrao, parish council member Maria coelho, Sr.Regina head of Dominican Convent, Br. Blison and Commission for Bible and Catechetics of Nithyadar Parish incharge Anitha Montiero and ICYM Nithyadar President Tina Dsilva were the dignitaries on the dais.

Thereafter, Fr Antony Lasrado delivered a valuable address, to the children and Commission for Bible and Catechetics of Nithyadar Parish incharge Anitha Montiero delivered the vote of thanks.

Fun Games were conducted from standard 1st to 10th, children thoroughly enjoyed the games, and prizes were distributed by parish priest Fr Anthony Lasrado.

Each child was given a pouch and stationary as a token of children's day and the program concluded by providing snacks and cold drinks to everyone gathered.

All the ICYM members & catechism teachers co-operated very well in order to make this programme a great success.
