March 5 : On the occasion of Lenten season, Indian Catholic Youth Movement St. Mother Teresa Deanery Surathkal organized Taize prayer at Sacred Heart Church, Surathkal on Sunday, February 25, 2024, at 6:00 pm for all the Youth of the deanery. The prayer and hymns were led by Mr Jaison Pereira and team along with the president Lavita Dsouza, assisted by the members of ICYM Surathkal Deanery, featuring melodious hymns centered around the Holy Cross.

All the youth along with a few elders engaged in hymn recitals, special prayers, meditation, liturgical readings, and adoration of the Holy Cross during the 90-minute session. The altar, adorned with illuminated lamps, provided a divine ambiance for worship. The preparation for the prayer was beautifully done by the deanery executive along with the members of ICYM Surathkal. The event offered a profound spiritual experience, fostering a sense of connection with Jesus among participants.
