Aug 28 : The Bibliothon 2024 was a remarkable event that brought together 21 teams from various wards of Angelore parish, each comprising four enthusiastic members, to engage in a spirited competition centered around the Bible. Held at Golden Jubilee Hall on 25th August, the event was meticulously organized, with every detail thoughtfully planned to ensure a smooth and meaningful experience for all participants and attendees.

The event began with a warm and inviting introduction, setting the tone for what would be a day of learning, fellowship, and spiritual enrichment. The Angelore Youth Movement (AYM) led the gathering in a beautiful prayer song, creating an atmosphere of reverence and devotion. This spiritual start was a fitting way to begin a day dedicated to exploring the wisdom of the Bible.

The Master of Ceremonies, Shaun Gonsalves, then took the stage, inviting the distinguished guests to join him. Among the guests were Rev. Fr. Frederick Monteiro, Rev. Fr. Stany Fernandes, Quiz Masters Rev. Fr. Joshwin Dsouza and Professor Robin Sera, Vice President Paul Rodrigues, Secretary Lolina Dsouza, 21 Pastoral Committee Head Renita Menezes, President of AYM Rayan Elrick Lobo, and Secretary Rhea Monalisa Dsouza. Their presence underscored the importance of the event and lent it a sense of gravitas.

AYM President Rayan Elrick Lobo delivered a heartfelt welcome address, expressing his gratitude to the participants, the organizing committee, and the guests. He highlighted the significance of the Bibliothon in bringing together different wards and fostering a spirit of unity and collaboration. With 21 teams participating, the event was not only a competition but also a celebration of community and faith.

Following the welcome address, Rev. Fr. Frederick Monteiro delivered the Presidential Address.
