June 21 : Indian Catholic Youth Movement, Diocese of Mangalore organized a get together and the last Central Council meeting on 17th and 18th June 2023, at Manasa Amusement Park Pilikula.

On 17th June youth enjoyed their leisure time with fellow leaders in the water park followed by the DEXCO meeting.  Mr Jackson Eric Dcosta, former President of ICYM Mangalore Diocese conducted group activities for the youth to enhance their team spirit and unity. He was also honoured by the Director and President of ICYM.

Chairman of Manasa Amusement Park, Mr. Eugene Wilfred Pinto addressed and motivated the youth by sharing his life experience. He encouraged the youth to start new business ventures in their own places rather than moving outside the country. Along with fun, games and learning activities the youth also spent quality time with almighty God in a prayer. At the end of the day everyone shared their experience being in the Central Council.

On 18th June, the day began with holy mass offered by Rev Fr Ashwin Lohith Cardoza. After the mass youth were taken to the place where a new project is under construction. The day ended with the last Central Council meeting consisting of 22 youth leaders of different deaneries and DEXCO members.

Fr Ashwin Lohith Cardoza Director, Mr Anil John Sequeira President, Nishal Preemal Dsouza Secretary thanked all the youth leaders for their selfless service for the past year and wished them for their future endeavours. The meeting ended with ICYM theme song.
