July 26 : The ICYM Unit of St. Rita Church Cascia organized "Get into Green" field trip on July 21, 2024, at Kadekar, Jeppinamogaru. The event aimed to give participants a hands-on experience of being a farmer for a day.
The program began at 10:30 AM with a prayer led by Jenevieve Dlima, followed by a warm welcome by Jeswin. The participants were then engaged in a transplantation activity, where they got to experience the joys of nurturing plants.

The field trip was made possible by Albert Dsouza and family, who generously provided their field for the event. As a token of gratitude, the ICYM members presented them with a momento.
A total of 18 members participated in the event, which was a resounding success. The experience of being a farmer for a day not only brought the participants closer to nature but also instilled in them a sense of appreciation for the hard work that goes into farming.
The "Get into Green" event was a unique initiative by the ICYM Cascia Unit to promote environmental consciousness and appreciation for the farming community.
