ICYM Valencia unit held “ YOU CAT ” – Training programme on Sunday, 14th July 2019 at 9.30 am in Ferrer Hall for the youths of the parish.

Rev. Fr James Dsouza – Parish Priest presided over the programme along with Rev. Fr Alwyn Dsouza – Assistant Director, St Joseph Engineering College Vamanjoor – Chief Guest and Resource person of the session. Rev. Fr Joswin Dsouza – Assistant Parish Priest, St. Vincent Ferrer Church, Valencia, Mr Anil Lobo – Vice president, Lizzie Pinto – Secretary, Valencia parish pastoral council, Mr Leslie Dsouza, Mrs Jasmine – YCS Animators were present for the programme

Jovita Rebello – President, ICYM Valencia unit welcomed the gathering and introduced the resource person. Rev. Fr James Dsouza delivered his presidential speech and encouraged the youths to come forward and actively participate in the activities organised by the parish as the year 2019 has being dedicated towards the youth.

Rev. Fr Alwyn Dsouza explained the concepts of YOU CAT and the contents which are included in YOU CAT book beautifully. The youths were very enthusiastic towards the session and raised few questions towards the resource person. Venessa Lee – Member, ICYM Valencia unit rendered the vote of thanks. Breakfast was served to all the youths present. A total of 60 youths participated in the training session.
