Feb 12 : ICYM Neermarga unit organized ‘KHELA FEST 2025’ for the parishioners on 2nd February 2025, Sunday.

The event commenced with March-past in which the Wards participated as a group led by ICYM members. Following it, ICYM members led a prayer song to invoke God’s blessings. Christopher Dsouza welcomed the gathering, followed inauguration, Presidential address by Fr. Paul Pinto and oath taking. The dignitaries present on the dais were ICYM Director-Rev. Fr. Paul Pinto, ICYM Animator-Prasad Vas, Vice President of ICYM City Deanery-Shannon Pinto, ICYM member of Fermai-Royan Nazareth, Coach Karthik , ICYM President-Christopher Dsouza and ICYM Secretary-Deona Dsouza. Aron Nazareth was the MC.

Various track and field games were organized for the parishioners of all ages. All the parishioners took active participation. The individual categories were as follows: upto KG, 1-2std, 3-4std, 5-7std, 8-10std, PUC, 18-30yrs, 31-45yrs, 46-60yrs, Above 60yrs; And a spot game, relay and tug of war was conducted as group games.

ICYM Animator-Prasad Vas, Vice President of ICYM City Deanery-Shannon Pinto, ICYM member of Fermai-Royan Nazareth, Coach Karthik, ICYM President-Christopher Dsouza and ICYM Secretary-Deona Dsouza were present on the dais for the valedictory ceremony. Deona Dsouza proposed the vote of thanks. Winners of each competition were awarded. The over-all championship was bagged by St. Francis Assisi Ward. Christ King Ward took second and Fathima Ward secured third. The event concluded with a baila dance. Is helping Dsouza was the MC.

The seamless execution of the event was made possible by the dedicated efforts of all the ICYM members, along with the help of YCS members.
